Father's Day is right around the corner, and it's not too
late to get something special to show your Dad how much you love him! I've been
seeing various Gift Guides for Dad's out there in blogland, and each one has
been unique, and full of wonderful ideas. But one thing I've noticed, is every
Dad is unique. And while one gift guide may provide perfect ideas for your Dad,
another one may be ideal for my Dad. Kind of like Goldilocks. Well, this gift
guide happens to be "juuuust right" for my Dad.
If you've been reading this blog for very long, you've
probably figured out that my Family is the outdoorsy kind. Especially my Dad.
He's always gone rock climbing, hiking, or backpacking. Living one adventure to
the next. If your Dad is anything like mine, I'm sure he'd love all one
of the items on this list!
1. A Thoughtful Card More than any gift,
I think most Dad's would love a thoughtful card to express how important they
are to you.
2. Smart Wool Socks My family might be a bit
obsessed, but Smart Wool is our go to brand for athletic socks! They're the
best for any outdoor activity.
3. Patagonia Capilene T-Shirt My love for Patagonia comes from my Dad, and I know he would love this shirt for hiking and
climbing during warm months.
4. Kleen Kanteen Insulated Mug Everyone should
have one of these! Be sure to get the cafe top to go with it. They're perfect for
cold and hot beverages alike. (Mom got one for Mother's Day too).
5. Unexpected:30 Years of Patagonia Catalog Photography
My Dad collects books, so combined with his love of Patagonia, this is the
perfect gift! The Photography is amazing, and it's fun to look back at the
different styles over the years.
6. Black Diamond Positron Carabiner A useful
and inexpensive gift, with the added bonus of keeping Dad safe!
7. Driveway Moments For Dads (NPR Stories) I've
gotten a few versions of NPR's Driveway Moments Series for my Dad and they're
always a hit.
Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there! Especially my
Dad, and my brother in law, Josh on his first Fathers Day!
xoxo,
Theresa
