Tuolumne Meadows: 2009 Photos

As you've probably guess by now, I have spent a significant amount of time in Yosemite with my family. Because of this, it's absolutely one of my favorite places to visit. So today, I thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures from our trip in the summer of 2009. This was the last time all of us were able to go the same weekend! I can't believe it's been that long ago now, but I think that is part of why we're all so excited for this weekend! 

 It will also be Phillip's first trip to Yosemite. My sister and I have been camping in both Yosemite Valley and Tuolumne Meadows since we were Phillips age, so it is really fun to see it come full circle. I know my Dad is especially excited to have his grandson up in the mountains with him!

 If you've never been to Tuolumne Meadows, you should definitely add it to your list of places to see! It is as beautiful as Yosemite Valley, but there are significantly less tourists. It feels much more peaceful and untouched.

    We just came back (about 1 month ago) from a CA trip and it was so beautiful and amazing I cannot wait to go back! I'm slacking and still have to post our Yosemite and Sequoia pictures :/ Yosemite was my favorite! Russ and I want to go back so we can hike half dome - timing and registering for the permit didn't work in our favor this time.
    Great pictures! I'm so jealous that you've been there so many times! Take me with you next year?!

    LOVED these pictures! Yosemite is so beautiful. My husband's family goes up there at least once a year, and I'm hoping that I'll get to go for my first time next summer!
