Hello my friends! Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you. The past week has been kind of a blur, I've been so busy, but at the same time, feel like I haven't accomplished anything because there is still so much left I want to do. It's making me a bit stressed!
Thankfully, I've gotten a lot of important things accomplished. I sold my car last weekend! It seems a little strange, this is the first time since I started driving that I haven't owned a car. But there was really no point for Andrew and I both to have a car living in the city. His car is newer, and an SUV so the extra space comes in handy, especially for camping trips. I'll miss my trusty little Honda Accord, but I was ready to see her go. Along with selling a car comes a lot of paper work and phone calls to insurance, etc. Thankfully, I've gotten all of those chores done.
Work has also been busy this past week, and between the gym and fun nights with friends after work, the blog has taken a bit of a back seat these past few days. It's not that I am uninspired or don't want to blog. Quite the opposite actually. I have SO many aspirations and goals for my blog and life in general. I constantly have a million ideas running through my head, so I'm trying to find the best way to get organized and promote productivity. Do you have any suggestions?
I'm quite the list maker, I constantly have lists lying around the house, in my purse, and on my phone. But I think the first step is consolidating all of those, so I've found a planner that I think will help me stay on top of everything and be productive. I think this will help me outline my goals for the blog (and everything else) so that I can take action towards accomplishing them.
I am so looking forward to this weekend. I really need a break from work, and with the holiday weekend this will feel like a mini vacation. Both Andrew and I are taking a half day on Friday so we can beat the traffic, and then heading down the coast to go camping. I am really looking forward to spending some time with Andrew, hiking and exploring the area, but mostly just relaxing.
Thanks so much for being patient with me and my lack of posts the past couple weeks. I promise there are exciting things in store for this little blog!
Thanks for listening to my random thoughts of the day! I hope you're all having a great week, Friday can't come soon enough!

Don't you have your first photography class tonight? Wah I wish I was going with you. I am looking to sell my '01 Honda Accord as well! Let me know your tips and tricks!
ReplyDeleteOh I can so feel you when it comes to ideas, goals, inspiration and how to bring them all together without stressing out. The same thing is also happening sometimes to me. I think the best thing is to focus and prioritize. Not everything has to be accomplished in one week. So maybe put only two-three things on your do to list. But your plans for the weekend sound really relaxing. Have fun!
