Every year I always love reading about Tina and Mal's 24 Days of Togetherness. I think it's such a fun idea, and a unique way to celebrate the holidays with loved ones. So this year, I thought Andrew and I would participate! After all, that's what the holiday's are all about. Spending time with family and appreciating our many blessings in life. Even though this list is just a few small & silly things to do together, come Christmas morning we'll have created fun new memories. And maybe even a new Christmas Tradition. Andrew has no idea we're going to do this, but I think it's something he'll have fun with too!
- Take Louis on a long walk & look at Christmas lights
- Write Haikus about one another
- Buy a Christmas ornament together
- Watch a Christmas Movie
- Bake cookies
- Go out for a cocktail
- Make a Top 10 list about our relationship
- Top 10 list of places we want to travel together
- Go for a walk in the Presidio
- Wrap presents and drink wine
- Share a favorite Christmas memory
- Take a family photo
- Drink hot chocolate or cider
- Order take out & watch a movie
- Share 3 things you love about the other person
- Buy Louis a Christmas toy
- Buy each other a $10 gift
- Play cards
- Listen to Christmas music

- Do an anonymous good deed
- Play 2 Truths and a Lie
- By a Christmas wreath
- Make a Christmas Drawing on the chalkboard
I also thought this would be a really fun thing for my sister and Josh to do with Phillip. I think it will be really fun and get him excited for a visit from Santa! He's almost 2 so I think this Christmas is going to be really magical this year! I'm planning to bring some supplies with us to Portland so we can create a jar for the Martin family to participate in 24 Days of Togetherness this year, too! Hopefully my sister is on board :)
Here are a few ideas I had for my sisters jar, can you think of anything that would be fun with kiddos? I bet my sister has great ideas, too!
- Read a Christmas Story
- Make Cookies
- Put an ornament on the tree
- Give treats to Sumo and Hank (their dogs)
- Color a picture for Santa
- Watch Rudolph

- Send Aunti a Christmas video text

- Make a hand print wreath
At the end of the month I'll be sure to do a re-cap post and share more about our activities over the 24 days. If you'd like to participate Tina created the hashtag #24DaysofTogetherness to share on Instagram.
