As I mentioned last week, the wedding we attended this past July 5th was one of the most fun weddings I've ever attended. I'm not exactly sure what made it so great, but part of that might have been that most of the guests and bridal party (Andrew was a groomsmen) stayed at the Claremont Hotel for the weekend. It was quite the group, and we made the most of the it by celebrating all weekend long.
There were numerous events for the wedding, starting with a rehearsal at the church followed a casual BBQ on Thursday, Friday was a 4th of July pool party and traditional rehearsal dinner, and Saturday was spent at the pool until it was time to get ready for the big celebration. The bride's parents also booked the Bell Tower Suite so we could watch fireworks from from the tower on the 4th, and continue the party in the suite after the reception ended on Saturday. And that we did! I feel like I should just let the pictures do the talking, because I'm not sure I can put it to words all the fun we had!

It was so great to finally meet and get to know some of Andrew's friends I had heard so much about. We all got along so well, and I felt like I fit right into the mix. We're hoping for a New York trip in the future since both Johnny and Maryann live there. And we're so excited because Maryann and her boyfriend decided to fly out to San Francisco for New Years Eve so we'll see them again soon!
