Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes - Fall

For my birthday, my sister got me this scarf which has quickly become one of my favorite fall pieces! I'm trying to think of as many outfits as possible to wear it with because it's so cozy and warm. As I was searching for outfit inspiration, I decided it'd be fun to create my own with another Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes post, but this time for Fall. 

The blue color I have has already sold out, but Nordstrom is having a big sale and they have a ton of great scarves to chose from. They are by far my favorite accessory for Fall, I love that they add interest to simple outfits and take a tee and jeans from boring to pulled together in a few seconds. Not to mention I'm always cold so I need the extra layer. A simple top, jeans & booties is my go-to look for styling scarves, but I also think they look great over a dress with tights and boots for a dressier look. And I love these brown Sam Edelman booties, they're similar to the pair I have and are currently on sale!

As much as I'd love to buy myself a few new items at the Nordstrom sale, I am not allowed to buy myself anything! Because a) 'tis the season for giving with Christmas around the corner and b) I need to completely clean out my closet and get rid of all the things I haven't worn in years. It's all just wasting space and would be better off donated to someone who might enjoy it. Does anyone else have this problem? It's such a daunting task, I need to dedicate an entire day to it. But our closets are overflowing so it's time.
